🌿 A NEW HOME, A NEW PARTNERSHIP AND 87.5 METRES TO GREEN 🐾
The Society for Animals in Distress and Paws R Us are joining forces—and SAID’s kennel facility will soon become the new home of Paws R Us and the approximately 70 dogs in their care.
Before they move in, we want to prepare the kennels responsibly. This includes undertaking a comprehensive sound-barrier project that considers the wellbeing of the dogs, our teams and our surrounding community.
As part of this project, we want to establish a dense, indigenous green screen along three sections of the property:
🌱 11.8 metres
🌱 14.7 metres
🌱 61 metres
That’s 87.5 metres of screening in total!
We are appealing for donations or sponsorship of:
🌿 False olive — Buddleja saligna
🌿 White Freylinia — Freylinia tropica
Ideally, we need healthy, established plants in 20-litre bags or larger. These indigenous evergreen plants will complement the physical sound barrier, reduce visual stimulation for the dogs and create a calmer, greener and more beautiful boundary.
Whether you can donate one plant, sponsor several, cover an entire section or assist with delivery, every contribution will bring us closer to creating a safe and sustainable new home for Paws R Us.
Two organisations. One shared purpose. A better future for animals in need.
